The Pershing Center
Lincoln Nebraska has its own historic, city-owned arena in the Pershing Center. The arena of the Pershing Center can accommodate and seat up to 7,000 sports spectators. This is already using a combination of permanent seats with some portable seating. The open floor, general admission area can hold up another 7,500 persons. For indoor sports like football, basketball, and volleyball, seats can be arranged to handle crowd turnouts from 4,500 to almost 6,000. There is also a permanent full proscenium stage at the east end arena of the Pershing Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The arena floor spreads out to 16,000 square feet. It is perfect for banquets, parties, and private events good for around 300 to 1,800 attendees depending on how the sets are configured and set up. For smaller and more private events, meetings, lectures or dinners, the Pershing Center’s services also offers half-house curtain dividers.
